Looks like Scottish Thistle...could be wrong - but it looks like it :) My wife's great grandparents brought over from Scotland a set of rocking chairs: Papa, Mama, child. Anyway, only the "Papa" one survived but it was in bad need of repair. I took it on as a project and restored it to its original glory - in my mind ha ha. The one thing I added to the restoration was carving in Scottish thistle surrounded by a heart on the back and arm rests. Great shot - love the colours.
